As a therapist, I endeavour to be authentic, caring and interactive with my clients. I use the principles and proven methods of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Positive Psychology and the “Depth Psychology” approach of Existential Therapy. Existential Therapists believe that while it’s important to identify and try to change the symptoms that come with mental illness, life issues, addictions, relationship issues, and other psychological dilemmas — we also need to go deeper — addressing how a person defines and understands meaning, relationships, purpose, and a life well lived.
