I’m a caring and authentic Psychologist in Northwest Calgary. While we can’t change any difficult situations from your past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life today!  By helping you learn and apply complementary approaches and techniques, we will work together to discover any long-standing, troublesome behaviour patterns or negative self-perceptions that may be holding you back in your life.  That’s really the key to improving our lives… how do we explore and fins out the perceptions, behaviours and habits that keep us from contentment and happiness?

As a caring and authentic Psychologist in Calgary, I endeavour to be authentic, caring and interactive with my clients. I have a Trauma-Informed Practice and I use the principles and proven methods of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry Methods https://drgabormate.com/compassionate-inquiry/) and the “Depth Psychology” approach of Existential Therapy.   Existential Therapists believe that while it’s important to identify and try to change the symptoms that come with mental illness, life issues, addictions, relationship issues, and other psychological dilemmas — we also need to go deeper — addressing how a person defines and understands meaning, relationships, purpose, and a life well lived.    

I am also a neurodivergent therapist who strives to provide a neurodiversity-affirming, inclusive therapy practice which welcomes autistic people, ADHD people,  highly sensitive people, people with neurodiversity trauma issues,  learning disabilities and all types of neurodiversity.
